I made SO many rusted papers for the March 2009 issue of The Monthly Muse that my workroom runneth over. I cut them into quarters, small enough to fit into a sandwich-sized zip-closure bag, about the size of a card front, and put a variety of them together. You’ll get eight samples that might include bond paper, cardstock, heavy paper towels (that can be peeled into two thin sheets), pattern tissue, maps, sheet music, dictionary pages, or ledger sheets. Some pieces are totally rusted, and some are rusted in patches—but they’re all pretty cool!
Papers are sent unsealed in a zip-closure plastic bag. They should be sprayed with a sealer before use, or applied with an acrylic medium that will contain the rust. Wash hands after handling papers to remove any rust dust. Do not store bare papers in close proximity to metal items.

I also have a limited number of half-sheet sample packs. Same assortment as above, but instead of cutting the sheets in quarters, I cut them in half. You’ll get 8 half sheets in these packs—some may be really rusty, and some just sorta rusty.

Want to make your own rusted papers? Here’s a set of three 9 x 13 inch rusted plates that I’ve used to produce some of my own papers. (You’ll need the instructions from the March 2009 issue of The Monthly Muse to use them if you don’t already know how.) I have eight sets of these, and when they’re gone, there won’t be any more this spring.

I bought a bunch of these, thinking I’d make a kit for them, but time got away from me, and I just can’t store them until next Valentine’s Day. Take them off my hands for what they cost me! Each 6-1/2 x 7-1/2 heart is drilled with two small holes, and hangs from a white cotton cord, which is easily untied and removed if you want to replace it with some lovely ribbons or satin cording.

These big, big, BIG playing cards measure 5 x 7-1/4 inches. They look like book covers to me! They’d also make great card fronts for your favorite poker-playing guy. You’ll get six assorted cards, with at least one face card.
