I never seem to have a card when I need one—and when you’re in the business of making things, stopping at Hallmark generally isn’t an acceptable solution. My friends and loved ones have grown used to receiving little handmade goodies, and are disappointed when I show up with anything store bought. What’s a busy girl to do?
Well, in my case, I designed a line of stickers that make up into lovely cards!
To make your own card in a hurry, you’ll need:
Position a large background sticker on the card, set away from the edge about 1/4″.
Add a border strip about 1/2″ above the background sticker.
Turn the card over, and trim away the excess stickers.
Apply a focal image sticker on the front side of the card.
That’s it—you’re finished!
If you’d rather make an ATC, you’ll need:
Position a background sticker on the card.
Add a border sticker.
Trim.
Glue the faux postage stamp on the front of the card.
Here are a couple of cards made using the Fire Sticker Set, and some Japanese text pages.
Thank you so much for these directions. Some times I need a push to get my creative juices flowing, and you are always there with help.
I ditto what Mona wrote. This is really great. Thanks so much!
This is great for those times when I need a card and I’m not inspired, so I procrastinate. With your stickers I can make something that looks great but is quick and easy. Thanks, Lisa - you are a peach.
