I’m thankful for many things. But at the top of my list is my gratitude for being born an American, for living in an exceptional country, a FREE country. When I think of the billions of people on earth who don’t live in free countries or experience the freedom I do as an American, it makes me even more grateful.

I have so much to be thankful for. First and foremost, I’m thankful for my family ~ my loving, hardworking husband, my son and his new bride (I’m thankful they decided to live near us instead of in a different state), my daughter and her new husband. I’m thankful that I was able to spend another Thanksgiving with my parents. I am also so happy that my sister will finally be able to move in to her house ~ over 3 years after Katrina.
I’m thankful for all of the wonderful people that I’ve met through my art.

That Santa home tag booklet reminds me of my cousin whose birthday is Christmas Day itself. Because of that, she loves collecting anything Santa-themed.

And thinking of that makes me thankful that I have such a big, fun, caring, wonderful family full of people who all watch out for each other.

What a fabulous giveaway! Oh wow, I would be so thankful to win something so lovely!

But as we’re giving thanks for things we HAVE, I am thankful for my job – last year at Thanksgiving I was unemployed. I am also thankful for my family and their support, even though they are far away. And I am thankful for a beautiful, smart, high-achiever daughter who is on her way to college next year and the start of her new life (and mine). I am so thankful for the creativity I muster each and every day, and for the desire to express it. Happy holidays to all – please have a safe season.

Oh my gosh….we are all so fortunate when we stop and think about our family and friends. The economy is in the tank and yet we have blessings galore.

I am also thankful for my art and those who have encouraged me and pushed me to new heights. I look forward to another year and wish everyone a safe and healthy season.

Lisa…who wouldn’t want your art pieces; your house book is just the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

I am thankful for my family – my husband and my son. I could go on and on about my friends, but I’m not sure that anyone is really reading this. But, just in case – I AM very thankful for a special group af friends (you know who you are, sofaking cool girls!) that have helped me realize that I am not alone.

Well I am thankful for the inspiration I get from other artists. That I can validate myself through my art. That I can share it with other people who get it!
