A Thankful Ten Two Tuesdays Giveaway

Yes, you guessed it—today’s Ten Two Tuesdays event is another giveaway. What can I say? My finished project samples runneth over, and ’tis the season for giving. I can’t help myself!
So, this week, I’m giving away the three items shown to one lucky winner: the HO-HO-HO row house book, Santa bingo card tag, and Angels bingo card greeting card. Three quicky, arty items you can tuck into your Christmas gifts, or keep for your own holiday treat.
Since we’re celebrating Thanksgiving in the US this week, to enter this drawing, leave a comment on this post (and not some other random post, because it won’t count over there) about the things for which you are thankful.

Good luck, and be sure to check back on Tuesday, December 2nd to see if you’re the winner!

I’m very thankful for my loving, caring and funny husband.
I am so thankful for my HEALTH, since i’ve been dealing with my mom’s health problems for the past four years, i realize how lucky i am to be have my health, and hope that continues.
I’m thankful for my healthy family. Sally
I am so thankful for my 11 children (10 adopted). That WOW God must really trust me alot to place these wonderful children with me and my husband to care for.
I am thankful for my family, that they are all healthy and here with me.
Mariah
I’m thankful for so much, but one i have the ability to use my hands for good and can create art for the joy.
I am thankful for my four cancer free years after breast cancer surgery in 2004, and for the opportunity to host my family’s thanksgiving dinner in my home.
I am thankful for life itself, and how beautiful the world is that G*d made (I believe). Such a wondrous treasure, ponder how marvelous it is that the next breath you take will be the perfect mixture for you to live by. That flowers can be so intensely yellow or so intensely purple. That my cat keeps me on schedule, and always knows when somethings amiss, such as if the dog pooped on the rug; if the dog doesn’t have food; if she doesn’t have food; if it IS TIME for me to go to bed; or if the dog is stuck in the bathroom! So smart! And loving. I’m thankful for my dog, my dh, my children, parents and ancestors. I’m thankful that every human in the entire world is made from the same gene pool. Ha ha! We are all sisters…and brothers including our skin! the skin. I am also VERY thankful for Chocolate! YUM! And Lisa, if I knew your address, I’d share…
I am thankful to live in a ountry where giving thanks is part of our national traditions. I am very grateful to have freedom of speech, religion, travel and so much more, freedoms I may not even recognize because they are so much a part of my life. One gal in a Nursing Home replied to this question today “I am thankful for indoor plumbing!”, yeah, gotta love that hot water anytime!
I am thankful for all the wonderful art friends I have met over the years and the inspiration they have given me.
I am thankful that someone loves me as I love him. He makes my world complete.
I am thankful for so many things but first and foremost I am thankful for my family and friends.
I am thankful for my loving husband, family and friends.
Linda
I’m just thankful for every day with my husband and three beautiful girls.

I’ve been blessed with a happy life and I’m thankfull for that together with my loved ones. Angel Faery Kathleen
I am thankful for so many things. We all take for granted that we live in this wonderful country where we can be thankful for what we want. I am thankful for my God who loves me, my dh, my ds who is healthy after heart problems several years ago, my friends, and that I have found art and turned out to be pretty good at it! lol Also thankful for this chance to win such awesome goodies! Thanks!
Lynn
I am thankful to be living in a country which values an individuals freedom. People of any nationality and any religion can live in our country and think and speak about what they believe, without fear of retribution because their views are different to the majority. Peace is a hard won ideal, and I’m thankful to be living in a peaceful state.
Aside from family, friends and good health, I am most grateful for discovering the world of art. I had not realized how empty and unfulfilled my life was before I discovered that I could be creative. It decreases my stress, makes life bearable and I live each day wanting to do something with my hands. That, makes me extremely grateful.
I am, of course, thankful for family and country, but, I am also thankful for you and other artists that take the time to share and teach others. As my health declines, I get more enjoyment and gratification from my artful endevors.
After having a truck smash into our house 3 years ago and then going through grandmal seizures with my oldest son I’m more and more grateful for all the little things and the quiet moments.
I’m thankful that my daughter could write this post to her blog:
For a daughter who, though she drives me crazy cause she’s so much like me, also amazes me every day with her intelligence, her humor, her generosity, and her smile.
For a son who, though he drives me crazy cause he’s two, loves to surprise me with drive-by hugs and random tickle attacks.
For a husband who, though he drives me crazy cause he’s him, let’s me sleep on the couch while he puts our daughter to bed, finds obscure horror films for me, rubs my feet on demand, and cleans the house when he’s home sick.
For the chance to be driven crazy by all three. Cause I’d rather be driven crazy than go through a life without them.
For a job that makes me feel like I’m giving something to the world. For over a hundred students, this year alone, who smile when they see me. For almost a hundred that are trying their best to get a good education. For administrators who think I’m doing a good job.
For pumpkin. Cause I sure love that stuff.
For friends who can make it over to share dinner with us. Cause it’s amazing to have a family who isn’t related by blood.
For friends who can’t make it over to share dinner with us. Cause I know they would if they could.
For family who love me no matter what, who push me to become more than I am at the moment and who understand that sometimes, what I am at the moment is the best I can do.
For the sheer number of people who absolutely love my kids with all their hearts. My children will be such better people because of them.
For books. All books. Even the crappy ones. Cause I love a world where nothing stops you from saying what you want and where another world is a page turn away.
For horror movies. Cause I’m a wee bit morbid in the sense of humor area.
For nap time. My nap time. It makes me a better mom, a better wife, and a all-around better person.
For life. Cause it sure beats the alternative.
Let’s see–I have so many things to be thankful for. Number one is living in a free, democratic country by just the pure luck of being born here. Listening to the news these days makes me think about this blessing every single day. Secondly, I’m grateful for my family and friends who make life sweet. And then I’m thankful for some material things which in the big picture aren’t important, but make me happy.
I am thankful for our health and the extra that we have to give to those who do not. I am also thankful for my friends and family who help make life worth living.
Mostly I’m thankful I’m ALIVE. Two years ago at this time I was deathly ill. Now my health is restored and I am planning for the future, not for my funeral.
I am thankful for my loving children and grandchildren and for the fact that they all live close by. I am thankful for my creative ability, even though it needs a jump start now and then. And most of all I am thankful for my husband who supports my interests and loves me in spite of my weird collections and pursuits.
Like several others have written here, I have many things to be thankful for…my family, my health, a good job. But today as I look out my window, I’m thankful for blue, sunny skies ( I live in the Pacific Northwest…sun this time of year can be rare!) and an empty day to play in my craft room!
I am thankful that I am still living to see this Thanksgiving and my birthday. Having a terminal illness makes me appreciate the small things and little things that people do.
Life is good I can still do a bit of art.

We’ve all got such wonderful things to be thankful for, and as I read this list, I realized that we’ve got so much in common in a world where people have become afraid to venture from their comfort zones to share with others. My children, husband and family and the love and laughter that come with them, the land we live in and the men and women who work to keep it safe, the fact that we have enough to be able to share with those who don’t have enough, and the things we take for granted each day – another sunrise, a rainy night, beauty all around us even in the most unusual places. And for people like you who bring us together to share our lives with, however distant we may be.
I am so very thankful for my two wonderful Grandsons. I’m also thankful that I had my Mother with us as long as she was (but I still miss her very much). Thankful for the internet, my friends and family, for the ability to create.
Hello
Our Thanksgiving was in October but I am still
thankful for my health, my family and all my
special friends..I am also thankful for the
oportunity to win some OH So Beautiful Creations.
I’m thankful for God never letting me down and providing for us even in uncertain times. I’m thankful for my beautiful, smart son who blows me away every day. And I’m thankful for my loving husband who puts up for me, my three stepkids and our wonderful home. Oh, and I’m thankful we get to do art!!!
I’m most thankful for my art. From my art I receive happiness, creativity, inspiration and sharing with other people; and ourse my three dogs – my pals who keep my grounded and give me exercise (whether I want it or not!).
I am thankful for so much – family, health, friends, art. But one thing I am especially thankful for is a growing confidence – it’s easy to listen to everyone else and not listen to yourself. So age has its perks ! Thank you for all your sharing on your website and blog, too !
Well I am thankful for the inspiration I get from other artists. That I can validate myself through my art. That I can share it with other people who get it!
I am thankful for the opportunity to change…every day… to be a better me. To change the direction I might be going. To restart and reclaim. To be here…right now.
I am thankful for my family – my husband and my son. I could go on and on about my friends, but I’m not sure that anyone is really reading this. But, just in case – I AM very thankful for a special group af friends (you know who you are, sofaking cool girls!) that have helped me realize that I am not alone.
And, thanks for all you do!
I’m thankful for my four healthy and beautiful kids!!
Oh my gosh….we are all so fortunate when we stop and think about our family and friends. The economy is in the tank and yet we have blessings galore.
I am also thankful for my art and those who have encouraged me and pushed me to new heights. I look forward to another year and wish everyone a safe and healthy season.
Lisa…who wouldn’t want your art pieces; your house book is just the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

Lisa,
What a fabulous giveaway! Oh wow, I would be so thankful to win something so lovely!
But as we’re giving thanks for things we HAVE, I am thankful for my job – last year at Thanksgiving I was unemployed. I am also thankful for my family and their support, even though they are far away. And I am thankful for a beautiful, smart, high-achiever daughter who is on her way to college next year and the start of her new life (and mine). I am so thankful for the creativity I muster each and every day, and for the desire to express it. Happy holidays to all – please have a safe season.
Judy C.
That Santa home tag booklet reminds me of my cousin whose birthday is Christmas Day itself. Because of that, she loves collecting anything Santa-themed.
And thinking of that makes me thankful that I have such a big, fun, caring, wonderful family full of people who all watch out for each other.
My heart is full of thanks for all the many people God has given me to love, for this wonderful art journey, and for people like, you, Lisa, who have helped (and continue to help) so many through this wonderful medium of the Internet. Thanks for your vast generosity, imagination and creativity.
I am thankful for every single thing in my life, a warm bed at night,
my doggies kisses, all my friends & family, the hugs of my grandkids
& my computer!!! What a world of opportunity!

I have so much to be thankful for. First and foremost, I’m thankful for my family ~ my loving, hardworking husband, my son and his new bride (I’m thankful they decided to live near us instead of in a different state), my daughter and her new husband. I’m thankful that I was able to spend another Thanksgiving with my parents. I am also so happy that my sister will finally be able to move in to her house ~ over 3 years after Katrina.
I’m thankful for all of the wonderful people that I’ve met through my art.
I’m thankful for many things. But at the top of my list is my gratitude for being born an American, for living in an exceptional country, a FREE country. When I think of the billions of people on earth who don’t live in free countries or experience the freedom I do as an American, it makes me even more grateful.
