Ten Two Tuesdays Giveaway!
I’m starting a new feature here at Ten Two Studios, called Ten Two Tuesdays.
Every Tuesday, I’ll post a little something that’s just for those who are in the know. It might be a giveaway, or some sort of freebie, or a special offer. It might be a new piece of artwork using stuff from Ten Two studios, or something fun from one of the Design Team members. You never know what you might find…
To kick Ten Two Tuesdays off with a bang, here’s a giveaway: this matchbox advent calendar is one of the projects from the November 2008 issue of The Monthly Muse. I made the sample, and here it sits—so, I thought I’d fill it up with goodies, and ship it off to someone else. Maybe you?
All you have to do is leave a comment on this post, telling me your Christmas wish. Be sure you leave a comment on this post, and not some other, random post, because it won’t count. Click the comment link under the title of the post, and it will pop you over to the correct place.
I’ll leave this open until next Tuesday, when I’ll choose a winner. Good luck!
Update: comments are now closed, and a winner has been chosen.
This is so beautiful! I just love Christmas.
My Christmas wish is for my hubby to find a job. He lost his job this summer after working there 20 years!
Thanks!
Hi Lisa,
My wishes are that our soldiers start coming home and that our new President begins open and honest dialogs with world leaders. Also, Cynthia said it all, peace in the family.
Always
Thanks for the giveaway, Lisa!
For myself, I have an early Christmas wish- that my baby boy due in November is born healthy and happy, and gets along great with his older sister.
For the world at large, I wish our new president is able to bring about some of the changes we all hope for. A speedy end to the wars and an uptick in the economic situation would surely be reasons to celebrate.
Wishing you and yours very happy holidays!
What a fabulous Advent Calendar. My son’s Christmas wish is to see his dad for the holiday. My wish is to make this happen for him.
My Christmas wish is that creativity enters every heart, & spreads through the world, as a force for good.
My wish . . . to just get through the holidays. I lost both my parents this past year, my mom to kidney failure and my dad 6 months to the day later to cancer. I’m really missing them both, and sometimes it’s hard just getting through from one day to the next let alone those special days like my mom’s or dad’s birthdays, their anniversay or holidays. I can’t even imagine what Christmas will be like without them.
Your Advent calendar is really cute, and such imaginative use of materials. Matchboxes, wow! Who else but you would have ever thought to use them for this purpose, but it makes perfect sense! Brilliant!
Lori
Love the calendar, My wish is for peace and harmony within my family.
This is gorgeous! My Christmas wish is that our country will turn the corner and be prosperous and peaceful this next year.
Thanks for all you do!
Julie
I think that all the wishes seem to have been covered already.
I would wish for global peace and harmony - and less suffering in whatever form it takes.
What a generous spirit you are giving such a wonderful gift away - it must have taken hours. I am sure that whoever wins it will cherish it and use it for many years to come - I know that I would!
I’m wishing for peace this holiday season and throughout the year. I’m praying that everyone gives President Obama a chance to succeed.
If I won the prize, I would be most appreciative. Thank You.
I don’t really have a Christmas wish. I guess if I did, it would be to just have time. Time to create. Time to stop and relax. Time to be. Time to do just what I want to do. In the last year and a half, I’ve been rewarded with four new grandchildren, one from each of my daughters and two from my partner’s son and daughter. I just want to enjoy watching them enjoy Christmas as I did when I was little. I also want to offer my thanks and gratitude to my Higher Power for another year on this planet, and to the people who have taught me and continue to teach. Thanks, Lisa.
My Christmas wish is that I’ll enjoy the holidays in spite of my recent stomach/intestine surgery. Your newsletter is helping me stay inspired to make gifts in spite of feeling so crummy, and I have a feeling someone will be getting a Ten Two Studios present this year.
My Christmas wish is for a job - not just something seasonal for me to survive on - but a job with a wage/salary that I can live on.
I have a Christmas wish…I wish that everyone would look at each other with new appriciation, in spite of our differences and rejoice in the fact that we are all differnt. I am really glad that you are not like me.
Now, as for the material side of things…I would love a Cricut Expressions. I work with kids and teach adult paper arts classes and this machine would add another dimesion and a lot of fun.
Thanks Lisa, as always, for your generous addition to this fun addiction, paper art.
I wish that my broken finger (16 weeks now) will finally heal correctly so I can get back to my love of crafting.
Awesome Advent Calendar!!!! Thanks for the chance to win it.
My wish for this Christmas is that my Daughter who has been estranged from me and my Grandsons (her two oldest sons…11 and 14) will come back to us this year. That’s all I want….my Daughter back in my life!
What a beautiful way to create an advent calendar. My Christmas wish is for a white Christmas. I miss the snow in Michigan, Arkansas almost never snows.
My wish is for my family to be together for the holidays with a new healthy grandbaby (it’s on it’s way ) and that I will get a chance to finish all of my previous muse projects for ornaments ion time for this year, lol. I missed last year but still have hopes. I adore the advent calendar Lisa. And I am also glad you have time to do your newsletters. I enjoy them very much. You always come up with something to inspire me. Love the Christmas link up you did at GMS. Got me in the holiday mode. Hugz and happy holidays to everyone. Scary
