Matchbox Advent Calendar Giveaway
I made this sample for the Matchbox Advent Calendar kit—and instead of tossing it in the next box of samples I’m listing on eBay, I thought I’d give it away instead. One lucky winner will get an early Christmas present. Yay!

Here’s how to win:
- Leave a comment on this post, telling me your Christmas wish.
- One comment per person, please.
- Be nice. Don’t be greedy. Posts that ask me to pick you will be deleted.
- Don’t tell me your wish is to win this calendar. I’m clever enough to know that if you leave a comment on this post, you probably wish I’d draw your name.
- Be sure your comment is on THIS post. Christmas wishes left on other posts will not be appreciated, will not enter your name in the drawing, and will probably make me say ugly words as I delete them.
- On Friday, November 13th, I’ll draw a name from the wishes left here, and post it on the Ten Two Studios blog.
And yes, assuming that the winner contacts me promptly with her address, the calendar should arrive in time to start counting down the days on December 1st—because it will be shipped to you filled with goodies
ETA: The comments on this post are now closed. Thanks to everyone who left their wishes here. May they all come true.
The winner of the drawing for the matchbox advent calendar is…
Martha Yee
Congratulations! Martha, please email me with your address so I can send your prize out to you.

My Christmas wish is that the weather holds so my siblings and I all make it Florida for a long awaited reunion.
My Christmas wish is for safe travel for those visiting loved ones and a special prayer for the men and women serving our country who will be away from their loved ones.
My Christmas wish is that a dear friend does not have to spend the holidays without her husband, who is gravely ill.
My wish is to have the opportunity to go back to Africa next year (I went for ten days this summer on a Mission Trip and left part of my heart there).
My Christmas Wish is that I will be able to give everyone that is special to me something that I have handmade them that shows them how much I care about them and how important they are in my life – whether it is a special ornament made from a domino, or an ATC using specialty paper that I have been ‘hoarding’…soemething that will last and will remind them of my love every time they look at it!

Well you certainly have a wonderful site. My Christmas Wish is to see my brother and meet his long time girlfriend whom I have never even spoken to. Also, I work on Fort Hood with children of deployed soldiers, so it is my wish that all of them come back no worse for wear.
I wish for my son to be back into a job again soon, so that he will be able to buy the little house that meant a step forward in life for him after all.
My Christmas wish is that all those who are fortunate enough to be with family or friends this holiday season will include others from their community who might otherwise be alone.
I wish for a happy and healthy new year for myself, my family, my friends, and everyone else too!
My Christmas wish is that my Mom will know who I am. She has Alzheimer’s and thinks I’m her Mother.
I know this is going to sound sooo unChristmasy, but my wish for this Christmas is ‘no’ snow. Yup, I know, your saying “What is she thinking?” And, “Don’t let the kids read this.” And what will the snowmen think? Snow-people??
But last year there was so much snow you couldn’t get out of the driveway, let alone drive down the street. My brother and I and most of the neighbours spent hours and hours out there digging out the street, trying to clear it to the main road. We drove in snow grooves for months.
So maybe a little fall of snow to keep Christmas Christmas, but please, no major dump.
My Christmas wish is for Peace on Earth. I wish that everyone would stop hating each other. Bur on a more realistic plain I would love to win the Matchbook Advent Calender. On another higher plain I wish all the families that have a chance to be together be glad for their time with each other and have a Merry Christmas.
My wish is that we have a cool Christmas – since my dream of a White Christmas will only happen if I go looking for snow! LOL! – and may the New Year bring lots of money so next year we can go up North for our White Christmas!!!
My Christmas wish is for World Peace, so we can bring all our military people home to be with their families.
I do love the advent calendar, never seen one like it before. Merry Christmas everyone and May all your wishes come true.

My wishes are for No one to be lonely and Everyone to be kind. Peace. k
I’m wishing for the Michigan economy to improve, and the school budgets not to be cut as much as they are forecasting.
That we will be done painting our downstairs before guests arrive on Dec 12 so that we all are able to really enjoy each moment and relish the gift of this time we will have together. Merry Christmas Everyone. I know its early but this is getting me in the mood.
It’s been a hard year for everyone with the economy. My wish is that everyone enjoy an old fashion Christmas, getting back to the things that make us happy and can’t be bought. Here’s a warm wish to everyone to have a happy and safe holiday. Oh, one other thing, hug your kids often, they grow up, move away, and you’ll miss them like crazy!
My wish is to be healthy enough to be with my family during the holidays and not be such a burden to my husband. I wish to ride on the back of his Harley someday soon! Enough about me, I wish with all my heart happiness for my sons, daughter-in-law, grandchildren and husband and for them to be safe always.
My Christmas wish is for World Peace.
No more wars, nowhere. Peace in our hearts, in our minds.
And, as I usually don’t get World Peace — I wish for it every year, you know — I would like to second Penny’s wish for NO snow. I’m not too fond of snow.
I usually don’t have Christmas wishes, but this year I do. And that is for my husband to get better, hopefully well. A back-up wish is to get snow.
My Christmas wish is to rediscover the joy and true meaning of the season. i want to have time to make handmade cards and gifts for my friends and family, and to bake cookies and gingerbread houses. this is my way of looking on the bright side of becoming unemployed this week.
