Yellow Tag Pocket
Design team member Gayle Page-Robak combined images from the Lemon Slice Bits & Pieces digital sheet with some from the Yellow Things colalge set to create this simple tag pocket.
Gayle says:
I like to create the Pocket tags as they are excellent to send in lieu of a birthday or gift card. One can write your personal greeting on the back of the insert tag, and you have a lovely presentation. The pocket is created by a fold-up of the bottom of the larger tag, closed at each side with narrow double sided tape to allow for the insert tag to fit securely in the pocket. I have made a lot of these over the years and they have always been popular.

Thanks for this great idea Gayle. This tag looks so sunny! Sally
Hi Sally…thanks for viewing, glad you like the pocket tag…they are fun to create and really nice to send along to family and friends, with or without a package (smile). Just think..Christmas is not far away and Lisa stocks her Ten Two Studio with a lot of great holiday images…wouldn’t they be great tags for those special gifts? Hope all is well with you. Hugs, Gayle.
Truly lovely, Gayle, I like this idea a lot. Oh, and that floral ribbon you chose really adds a lovely touch to the piece. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
Hi there, Laura….so happy to see your comment. I hope you will read my reply comment to Sally…a great pre-holiday project….quick and easy. There are so many gorgeous ribbons available now, and they sure have come down in price over the years…Take a look at the Bits and Pieces digital collage sheets…they are so perfect for these…just apply glue to the tags (tags are available here at Ten Two Studios, as well). Hugs, Gayle
I love the idea of using these as birthday greetings. I’m off to make some today. And I like the little white bits she used as a design at the bottom of the tag.
Hi Llynn…thank you for commenting. I hope you will enjoy making these pocket tags. BTW, the bits at the bottom are simply the holes created with a ‘Border Punch”. You could use any type of punch to create a design at the bottom before you fold it up. Have fun. Hugs, Gayle.
Gayle this is brilliant! I dislike making cards, so creating tags and pockets makes far more sense! TFS!! =)
