Fifth Anniversary ATC Swap + Five Freebies

July 5th marks the fifth anniversary of Ten Two Studios. That’s right—five years ago, I walked out of my office at my previous job, and came home to start my own business. Seven thousand orders, one thousand blog posts, three hundred newsletter emails and four thousand reader comments later, here we are…
To celebrate this milestone, I’m hosting an ATC swap, with one or two freebies thrown in. Here’s the deal:
- Sign up for the swap in the comments section of this post.
- Freebie #1: Download the Fifth Anniversary collage sheet using the button below. Although it’s free, you’ll be asked to provide a valid email address to collect the digital file, which will allow me to keep track of who downloaded it. Please note that this cannot be placed in your regular Ten Two Studios shopping cart with other products—it goes into a different cart, because it’s a freebie, and that’s how my download service provider makes the free magic happen.
- Print out your swanky new collage sheet, cut it up, and make five (5) artist trading cards. Each card should contain at least one of the images on the Fifth Anniversary collage sheet. Your cards can be all the same design, or different—whatever you feel like making.
- Print and fill out the swap form that comes with the collage sheet file. This will give me your mailing address (
and give you mine), as well as permission to scan and post your work, and include it in a ‘zine that may be created later. Freebie #2: You do not have to include any return postage or envelopes to participate in this swap. No matter where you are in the world, I’ll cover it. - Mail your cards and the filled form to me at the address
indicated on the instruction sheetin the comments section of this post so they arrive in my hands by Thursday, August 5th. Please plan ahead to have the cards arrive by the 5th. Cards that arrive late will be returned to the sender, unswapped. - Freebie #3: If I receive enough cards, I’ll put together a Fifth Anniversary ‘zine. If scans of your cards are used in creation of a ‘zine, you will receive a link to download a free copy when it is published.
- Freebie #4: From amongst the folks who submit cards for this swap, I’ll choose five to receive free six month subscriptions to The Monthly Muse (or six month renewals if they’re already subscribers).
- Freebie #5: From amongst the folks who submit cards for this swap, one lucky winner will receive $50 worth of Ten Two Studios goodies.
Cards will be swapped out and returned by Tuesday, August 10th, when I’ll also choose the names of the winners of the free subscriptions and box o’ goodies.
07/05 EDITED TO ADD: OK I was a moron, and posted the digital file without my mailing address. I went ahead and posted it in the comments. I’ll probably end up emailing everyone who downloads the file next week, just to be sure you have it.
Also, unlike most of the digital products I sell, this collage sheet file has no permissions restrictions on it, which means you can open it in Adobe PhotoShop or Elements, and use the images for digital ATCs, or pluck out one or two items you’d like to use, and set them up to print out for all five of your cards.
07/09 EDITED TO ADD: In the last five days, there have been over 150 downloads of the free collage sheet, and about 65 sign-ups for the ATC swap. Even if only half of those who have signed up manage to get their cards in on time, I’ll have my hands full, so I’ve decided to close this project to new participants. Thank you for the opportunity for joining the swap. I am glad I signed up before you closed the swap.
I have spent the last few days making my ATCs and have just put them into the mail box down the road to go in the 6pm mail tonight. It has now started raining so I hope they don’t get wet when the mailman gets them out of the box. I don’t how long they will take to get to you. Sometimes mail gets to USA within 5 days, sometimes takes a lot longer. Hope they get there in time.
