Flower Power
Design team member Gayle Page-Robak made this flower ornament using images from the Pink faux postage sheet. She thinks she might laminate it, and use it as a coaster.
Much prettier than the folded paper towel I’ve been using at my computer table…

What a lovely piece, Gayle! I like the way you carried the floral theme through the whole piece by incorporating the flower images into a flower shape. Yes, I can see it as a coaster, but also as a lovely summer room-brightener. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us.
Thanks so much, Laura…it is bright and perky. I love flowers and with Spring being here, I can’t wait for the snow to go…so I can see some real ones. The Faux postage flower images here at Ten Two are so beautiful…I hope you have selected yours. I really love the white ones too!
Oh Gayle, this is too nice to put your drink on. Hang it up for all to see. Is this made on card stock, chip board …or just paper? Keep thinking pink, Spring might finally stay! Sally
Hi Sally…thank you, so glad you like it. It is made on chipboard…they sell the flower shapes at Michaels and other stores. Lisa’s flower images are perfect for this shape, I think. When laminated they are great as a pretty coaster.
Wow- this is lovely. I, like Laura, love the way you carries the flower theme into the overall shape. This is a great piece:)
Thanks so much, Melissa…so easy to do as well…done on a chipboard base.
gorgeous colors! love the shape – perfect for spring!
Thanks, Kelly…it is about the only flower I see around here…still nothing but snow (sigh).
Beautiful colors! I would spray on some flower scent + hang it by my computer.
Good idea Kim….aroma therapy….sounds like a plan!!
