Cherry Delight

What do all these pieces have in common? The were all made with the Cherry Delight Bits & Pieces digital collage sheet! I made the book shown above from two manila envelopes, and a single print of the sheet. At left, Gayle Page-Robak used the same sheet to make a tag set, a trinket box, and an altered pill bottle. These sheets are SO versatile, and inspire so many little projects. Gayle and I have been trying to outdo each other with every new sheet.

Red is my favorite color so I adore all of the projects! I especially like the idea of using the manilla envelope. I’m wondering if my second graders could do a project like that…
Thank you for your comment and kudos, Carol. It is actually very easy to create these little envelope booklets, just a matter of folding them in half, punching two holes on the center fold and tying with a ribbon. Quite simple. The Bits and Pieces collage sheets make everything go together quite easily…I am sure if you try one, then show your grade 2 students, they will not have a problem making them. What a terrific idea for a Mother’s Day gift from the children. Great idea! Good luck on the Monthly Muse Draw…lots of terrific ideas there with each issue!
What a beautiful array of items. I especially love the envelope book.

Thank you so much, Katina…so glad you were able to view and I wish you lots of luck in the prize draw! Enjoy your week!
Red is my favourite designing colour (though I also like earth tones – go figure). The piece with the butterfly, paper lace doily (I assume that is what it is, anyway) – that one is really striking. I also have a thing for little boxes (one of the reasons I love dollhouse miniatures, I suppose) – so that one kinda “speaks” to me as well. Very nice work!
Your comments and kudos are really appreciated, Heather. Thanks so much! Hope you will join us in creating some art pieces from these beautiful “Bits and Pieces” collage sheets. They are so fun to create with. Kind regards.
Nice projects. Now I know what to do with pills bottles. My favorite project is the box with butterfly!
Hi Carole…so glad you like the art pieces we have presented…thank you so much. Good luck to you in the drawing for the wonderful prizes Lisa has offered….they are awesome!
Gorgeous creations. The pill bottle would make a great gift box for jewelry, too.
You are so right, Aimeslee, would be great for jewelry and if we are lucky enough to go on a trip that would be so ideal…thanks for the suggestion and the kind comments. Good luck with the prize draw!
I love the airy feeling produced by the butterfly / lace configuration…I’m not usually drawn to red combinations but I really like this one.
Lisa and Gayle, I would love to just stand back and watch a play off between the two of you. All the art is so sweet and charming. Thanks Lisa for another great collage sheet.
This is a gorgeous set of images and Gayle has certainly put it to good use! Gayle, your projects are lovely…you’re such an inspiration.
