This necklace truly embodies the spirit of the Art Deco era. It has the clean and simple look with the pop of the detailed hearts. A wonderful use of those bamboo dominos (did you stain it dark?) we all have sitting around and never seem to be able to do anything with. Talk about thinking outside of the bamboo box!

Now i’ve got to get my doms and dom sheets out and search for the antique brass chain and findings I bought on e-bay before my dear geek husband rerouted the ebay page to show my bank balance instead… Thank goodness he hasn’t found out about Ten Two!

Lovely piece, Gayle. I particularly love the depth of colour in the domino itself, it’s very rich. Did you stain it a deeper shade or did it come that way? It’s gorgeous, and while the difference (deeper than usual colour) is subtle, it does a great deal to set off the image you used. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us.

The pendant is beautiful. I would like to learn how to make necklaces and pendants out of bamboo tiles and dominoes. Your sense of color is what makes this piece look so great.

What a great idea for a bamboo domino. I have a ton of these pieces and wasn’t quite sure how to use them since the holes were vertical but now I know thanks to you! I just need to get me a bunch of those images so I can start playing. Keep up the great creative work!
